Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Fidora (the “Service”), provided by Fidora Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17316037). By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Fidora aggregates and cross-checks information from Companies House, Xero and HMRC to show your tax position, statutory deadlines and reconciliations. It is an information and planning tool.
2. Not professional advice
Fidora provides estimates and information, not tax, accounting or legal advice. Figures — including forecasts, tax estimates and payment schedules — are indicative and may differ from your final filed position. Always confirm with a qualified accountant or with HMRC. You remain solely responsible for your own filings, returns and payments, and for any interest or penalties.
3. Read-only by design
Fidora only reads from Xero, HMRC and Companies House. It does not file returns, make payments, or change any records in those systems.
4. Your account
You must give accurate information, keep your login credentials and two-factor authentication secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it unlawfully or on behalf of anyone without authority.
6. Subscription and payment
Once paid plans are live, fees, billing cycles and cancellation terms will apply as set out at sign-up. Fees are payable in advance; you can cancel to stop future billing.
7. Third-party services
Your use of Xero, HMRC and Companies House through Fidora is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or decisions.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and its content. You retain ownership of the data you enter and connect; you grant us the permissions needed to provide the Service to you.
9. Availability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any tax, interest or penalties arising from your reliance on estimates or information in the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
